insatiable-geek: The Tick Blueberry Lemonade (The Tick cocktail)

Ingredients:
12 oz. bottle of Jones Soda Berry Lemonade
1 oz. Blueberry liqueur (We make our own super potent mixture)
1 oz. Vodka
1 Blue Twizzler

Directions: “Slice the Twizzler in half and cut a notch in each piece to easily attach to your glass.  Pour in the alcohol and top with Jones Soda.  Don’t forget the SPOON!”

If you’ve never had Granita before, you need to go make yourself some. Like, right this second. Seriously, it’s so easy and perfect. 

You can use pretty much whatever fruit you want, but I had a severe Watermelon craving today so I found this recipe from Epicurious. 

This recipe is just watermelon + sugar + lemon/lime juice. Super simple. Super yummy.

She says her fiance is Carribean, and that the wedding colors are blue and gray.

My idea was to come up with a blue tropical drink and a “gray” smooth “city” drink, although I found out that the wedding isn’t actually taking place in the city…

Drink 1 - Island Punch

Rum based, blue curacao, pineapple and/or other tropical juice(s), splash of sprite/club soda

The nonalcoholic version would just be a mix of the same ingredients sans the rum

Drink 2 - Martini

Ciroc or any other vodka, champagne, sparkling white grape cider/splash of white grape juice, simple syrup

The nonalcoholic version could be a mix of nonalcoholic champagne and the other nonalcoholic ingredients

I thought these were some great choices, and my friend was grateful for my help… I could get used to more recipe/wedding/event planning!!
